But like most other "obvious" cases, Israel refuses. Apologise and pay compensation. It's that easy but then this is a government that will deny that they have any obligation to pay compensation the the hundreds of thousands of palestinians it drove out and displaced in 1948. There is no equitable morality here. For Israel, morality only runs in one direction. As for its soldiers facing law sutis abroad, that is already the case and as its occupation and military actions against the occupied continue, those law suits will only continue. Turkey is right in demanding an apology for Isral's killing 9 of its civilians and that it is resposnible for paying compensation. Their deaths were not operational mistakes. They were planned and calculated by the IDF to teach the Turks and others a "lesson".
