The modest but convicting statements and political stand of Jonathan Pollack are of the sort that justify maintaining a measure of optimism for the future of Israel and all of its citizens. Were this article to be read across the globe I expect that there would be enthusiastic responses not only for Jonathan and his cause, but also the much coveted recognition that the authentic spirit of Judaism lives on in Israel and is actually being lived out day by day by Jewish Israelis.
