If there isn't another idea that would work fast, Israel just has to take her fate into her own hands and take the drastic, and extremely dangerous step of preempting Iran from having nuclear weapons. If it will work, is doubtful, and Thomas de Mazière is right in pointing out that Israeli leaders have not taken Iran's response sufficiently serious. It will be such a brutal, ferocious and unscrupulous response that Israel may well end up wondering if it was worthwhile. Morover, it will last through time, and not be "proportional" in intensity, space or time to any strike of Iran's many nuclear / nuclear weapons' sites.
