Originally it was supposed to be a NO FLY ZONE. That meant shooting down hostile aircraft which are being used to bomb civilians. Then it moved into destroying Gaddafi's ground forces ( which were not in combat at the time ). Then it evolved into air cover for attacking rebels. Now we are talking about providing them with aid to continue the war. Time for the US and everybody else to end this by declaring a stalemate. Divide the country for now Gaddafi has his half & the rebels theirs with a UN buffer zone. Gaddafi will go for it because it gives him his way out. We know nothing about these rebels and we also can't be sure that a post Gaddafi Libya wont end up in civil war. Divide the country & push the rebels into accepting the idea of democracy and build the institutions needed for democracy. In time Gaddafi supporters are going to look at what the rebels have and say I want some of that and they will probably turn on him in time. Its not an ideal solution but its a practical one because it ends the fighting, we can avoid a civil war and start putting in place the groundwork for a real democracy one day in future.

Why this liberal Zionist now supports BDS

Calling the occupation 'unsustainable' is how liberal Zionists ease their conscience and excuse their timidity, by telling themselves it can’t last. But it will last – unless we start acting more like radicals.
