This is a historic moment for the Labor party. All the MKs are social democrats with credentials to prove it (except perhaps Ben-Eliezer). The opportunists are out of there, and the lesson of where opportunism leads is clear to all. The potential for New Labor is great, and the revived party has some time to convince the voters of its sincerity (since elections are now far off). Barak has done an enormous favor to the Left by exorcising himself out of the sick body.
