If Israel is to be a Democracy, the Religious Right will remain a minority. If Israel is to be a Theocracy, then the Religious Right will be in power. The future depends on the type of government the Israeli people desire. My personal feeling is that governments run by a religion are of the past and will never be part of the future. God made commandments that were simple and all-encompassing. Man decided that ritual was more important than substance. The entanglements and the lack of freedom dooms the Religious Right to remain a minority in the future.
