This is the reason why I returned to the U.S after making Aliyah and living in Tel Aviv for the past several years. Unfortunately, this protest came a little too late for me to partake in. It is impossible to live a good quality life style in Israel. It is difficult to see a good future there. Salaries are insultingly low, rents are abnormally high and the standard cost of living is beyond the reach of many people in my generation. Change must happen. Joining the protest in spirit.
