Israelis don't count as far as his agenda is concerned, while the congress can work to stay Obama's hand while he carries out his agenda. He wants congress to make sure that the Palestinian deal falls through come September. He's stupid, simple as that, and hopefully at least some in congress will recognize that fact. What he doesn't realize - and maybe some congressmen don't realize it either - is that not even congress can stem the tide of international concensus...something that was revealed when the US tried to protect S. Africa in UNSC. But hey, maybe I'm wrong about with all my surmising...maybe he just wants to give his speech to the only group in the world who cares to listen to his line of bs(or at least will pretend to)...Israel's ONLY remaining bastion of closed-eyed support.
