Our father Abraham was married to Sarah Imenu. using the metaphore of Adam harishon and chava to Abraham's case we get the following exemplary story from the Torah: Sarah feels Abraham need to feel accomplished througha son and since she is old tells him to father a son from Hagar the egyptian concubine. He does so and Ishmael is born Later and at a very late age Sarah gives birth to Yitzhak. In the Torah Sarah sends away Hagar with her child to the desert. Abraham suffers a great deal as a result of having to do something he did not want. Hashem hears the cry of Hagar and Ishmael. It is because of this great sin our mother Sarah committed that exists all the animosity between the great descendants of Abraham. After Sarah dies Abraham gets reunited with Ketora(Hagar changes her name to Ketora) and has many more children. Abraham loved Hagar and respected Sarah. It is because of the great sin our foremother caused to Hagar and Ishmael that all these problems exist ever since. It has nothing to do with Israel 1948 or 1967. A great jewish leader will have to rise one day let's hope sooner rather than later who will ask for forgiveness to this despicable act to the children of Hagar and Ishmael. Ultimately our 2 nations are half brothers and our father loved both. we can reach a point of respect and peace but only if it is done at top religious levels. The seculars do not carry weight amongst either nation although they still rule ,but not for long. Then peace will prevail with values of modesty and kindness like our forefathers preached, values we have forgotten while the capitalist system inserted its devil in our midst.
