The only reason Israel will cooperate is because this probe will be manipulated by a few members on the UN committee who are pro-Israeli and pro-American. They will attempt and probably succeed in distorting some, if not all, of the facts and attempt to show that Israel had the right to do what it did under the circumstances of Israel's security fears. Don't expect this probe to in any way convict Israel of wrong doing and if any wrong doing by Israel is proven, don't expect the UN to punish Israel in any way. This probe is useless. The facts speak for themselves. Israeli troops stormed a flotilla carrying aid to the Palestinian people and they stormed this flotilla in neutral waters, which is an international crime and no probe is needed to prove that. Second, Israeli soldiers killed passengers aboard the flotillas, which is also a crime and no probe is needed for that either. Israel can not claim self defense, because Israel was the aggressor and the passengers had every right to react in self defense, if they did. Israeli soldiers had no right to claim self defense, they were the attackers, not the ones being attacked.
