The real problem, as it is throughout the Middle East, look at Lebenon and Iraq, is that political parties have armies. Elections while never work to resolve power disputes if military power doesn't follow the rule of law. None of the Arab countries will be able to have nonviolent power transitions, unless the armed forced serve the country as a whole and not a political party.
