the Palestinian Authority gives offers, the israeli give offers, these are negotiations, the problem is everytime the two sides come close to reach an agreement, israel's government collapses and the next government renounces previous negotiations... even if olmert gave a great proposal, if there are issues the palestinians would want to clarify, discuss and negotiate, it's our right, 1 ex. of many: if israeli proposal says the jordan valley ( 30% ) of the west bank to stay under israel's control for 20 years and this period could be extended, it's our right to refuse this and make a counter offer, this is what negotiations are about and the U.N resolution 242 talks about, if we're talking about take it or leave it deal, then why didn't israel accept the Arab peace initiative?!
