While it is true that Ehud Barak was a terrible politician and hopeless party leader, it wasn't Barak who destroyed the Labor Party. Labor has pursued a platform that the electorate simply doesn't want anymore! Not many voters really want to return to a corrupt Socialist / Communist regime and this explains the unpopularity of Labor in recent elections. Now that Labor will be led by proven losers like Daniel Ben Simon, Eitan Cabel, Ofer Pines, "Professor" Braverman and that genius Amir Peretz, you won't have Ehud Barak to kick around (and blame) anymore. Then what are you gonna do???
