The voting in the UNHRC, I think, is just a prelude to what is really going on behind the scenes. US, which is new to UNHRC, cast 3 negative votes. This, I think, was pre-ordained. What really matters is what happens at the UN Security Council. Now with UK and Germany totally incensed with Israel also, time is ripe for UNSC to pass a resolution to halt all East Jerusalem building and return of land occupied/annexed in 1967. No one agrees with annexation. So, with such a resolution passage, UN is in the position to enforce it, by force, if necessary. I think that is what Obama probably told Netanyahu. (just my guess). UNHRC is the first step. More to come with Goldstone Report being referred to ICC through the UNSC; it's coming.
