If you would like to know the real lessons learned by Palestinians and Arabs, in dealing with Israelis, consider the following: Israel only withdrew from Sinai and parts of the Golan after the 'war of attrition' and the 1973 surprise war by the Arabs, which shook Israel to its foundations. Israel only withdrew from Beirut then South Lebanon after the the Lebanese armed resistance made the Israeli occupation army pay a heavy price. Israel evacuated its colonial settlements from the Gaza Strip after a 5-year Intifada in which Israelis lost life and reputation. Israeli military mentality, full of its own inflated power ego, only understands the language of force and pressure. How will East Jerusalem and the West Bank be evacuated? I wonder.
