The "they hate Israel" approach is a bankrupt dodge of those who would rather dismiss critisim than answer it. Romeny, Adelson and Netenyahu were all over Obama, and Netenyahu did his best to undercut Obama in Congress. It was obvious and blatent. Obama did not trust Netenyahu before, and now trusts him less. That does not make Obama anti-Israel, but it does mean that there will never be a personal working relationship between Netenyahu and Obama, and that's the reality of it. If American Orthodox feel uncomfortable with that, they can stop being so smug and strident against the majority of American Jews. If Israelis feel uncomfortable with that, they can elect someone besides Netenyahu.
