    Once you start dividing the world categorically in such a manner that certain people are entitled to live in peace and dignity and others far less so (i.e. the project of political Zionism) then you just can't prevent further sub-divisions. Now, as Gilad144's post reveals, it is not enough to be a Jew, you have to be the good sort of Jew (conservative and Zionist). Perhaps Gilad and the many others like him long for a 'Conservative, Zionist, Jewish State'? And the rest of us, lesser Jews, can create our own state elsewhere or live as your 'shabbos goys' in little bantustans on the fringes of major cities? And then, no doubt, amongst the 'Conservative, Zionist Jews' there will emerge a further group of 'super Jews' who think in a superior way to the others: watch the right TV programmes, read the right books and thus deserve their own, even more exclusive state. You can see the scenario unfolding, can't you...
