What's interesting about Prince Edward is that he is officially known as the Earl of Wessex, a non-existent place in Britain, about as anchored in reality as Ruritania or Lilliput. He's a failed, would-be theatrical/television impressario whose various ventures have mostly turned belly-up and whose company is kept afloat only by unsecured loans from rich, ingratiating toadies. The class system in Britain is still alive and still sickening and its hierarchy is maintained by the existence of a farcical monarchy. Sorry, Ma'am, but you have to go.
