Mossad sent 32 (THIRTY TWO) agents to assassinate a nobody from Hamas in Dubai. The "deceased" was not known to have any particularly unique skills and was probably replaced within days. Why would Mossad act this way and risk so many agents for no good effect? The answer is "hubris". Mossad 's head (M. Dagan) was very successful in recent years, including the assassination of Mughnieh and the discovery of the nuclear site in Syria. His term in office was extended again and again, and he apparently came to think of himself as invulnerable. I bet Mughnieh also thought of himself this way. That led to their downfall. Dagan will now be leaving office in the next couple of months and Mossad will have a chance to develop cleaner acts.
