Why did they not have the right to self-determination, as promised in Woodrow Wilson's 14 Points, including the right to set immigration policy? Because Europeans and Americans didn't consider them cultured enough? That's no reason. Zionism piggybacked on Turkish and then British imperialism/colonialism.
