That's been a trend here in Britain for a long time. Back in 1967 basically the whole population supported Israel against the Arabs. Now, it's basically only some British Jews and some right-wingers who do. BUT the British government is still reluctant to do much against Israel, because of US pressure, and because some British Jews are wealthy and well-connected, and because fundamentally it's easier for governments to stick with the status quo than engineer unforeseeable changes. The danger is that Israle thinks western governments will ignore their public's views forever. They may do, but equally, change, the tipping point, could come very fast and leave Israel unable to react and adapt to it, in time.
