Sonic booms are not going to scare any dedicated terrorists. They might well recruit a few. This is such immature and petty harassment, and as Ben Gurion has pointed out is clearly collective punishment and a violation of the Geneva Accords. The person responsible for ordering it should be located and fired before he gets another 'bright idea'. Israel does not need another Lavon Affair right now, and anyone childish enough to order the sonic boom campaign would be capable of the same kind of blunder.. It seems to me that there must be another loose cannon like Benyamin Gibli rolling around on the deck of the ship of state.
