Peace cannot be reached without a fundamental change in attitude. I have no doubt that each party can find countless valid arguments to make his case. ..countless historical parallels that highlight the potential perils of a hastened peace. Each can easily and convincingly point to the arguably inhuman values of the other. Each party seems to be shocked that there are honest and intelligent minds in the world who still seem to find controversy in their flawless arguments. And it frustrates them. All those type of arguments are Dépassé today. We've all heard them. Peace requires the opposite attitude. Istead of using these arguments to make their case, both parties should think how to overcome them, how to free themselves from them, in order to reach a "Peace" frame of mind.
