A massacre of the Jews on the order of the Crusades was threatened back then and would have been carried out in 1948 had Israel lost that defensive war or the later ones in 1967 & 1973. Now the disingenuous "moderate" Palestinians after having lost those lands due to their militant stupidity try to make a case for defending the slaughter of Jewish innocents there in bed because of Israeli settlements encroaching into the West Bank, while the "militant" group brazenly brandishes their charter of death and destruction of Israel out in the open and always can't wait to carry out their next act. After bargaining away land to establish peace treaties and then leaving Gaza, Israel's strategic depth is now very lean and bordering on anorexic if she was to give up what the "moderate" Palestinians are after, and to the "militants" the Jewish State would then look like such a pushover.
