As we have seen in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya, there is limits to how much people can take. People power defeated Mubarak and Bin Ali and could defeat Qaddafi. Under decades of Israeli occupation, millions of Palestinians suffered deprivation, apartheid, and theft of their homes and land. The wall that was holding Palestinian anger, hopelessness, and helplessness is collapsing as we speak. The US always maintained that settlements are illegal, but voted against a UN resolution that affirms that illegality. This definitely left the Palestinians with no alternative but to revolt. Either accept the humiliation of occupation and the Israeli apartheid, or revolt against Abbas and his PA and Israel. By massing hundreds of thousands at check points and border crossings, Palestinian non violent youth must use the internet and face book and twitter to organize and start on the path of the Tunisian, Egyptian, and Libyan youth. With the Palestinians are holding the higher moral ground over Israel and its patron, the US, the revolution is coming soon. Especially, if the Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza, and the pre 48 join together in the fight for freedom. Bring down the wall of hate and end the occupation. Yes, Israel is brutal and the price will be very high, but the price of freedom is not cheap. Netanyahu and Lieberman will not be better than Qaddafi. We are all waiting for that day of Palestinian revolt, and it is coming soon.
