...what was back then considered no-man's land Palestine... Perhaps ever since Turkey yielded to the British about (then) Palestine, and decided to venture onwards to "occupy" Cyprus, perhaps these poor helpless Gazan's can be relocated to Cyprus? Why not declare the new Palestinian state in occupied Cyprus? Better yet, since it's so comfortable in Istanbul to speak of Gazan tragedies, maybe it would be just as comfortable to continue babbling about it by Israel allowing the stationing of a few Turkish peace-keepers right on the Southern border of Israel? That way, the Turks can continue to give these noble "we are with our brothers" speeches in the same area where the rockets land from Gaza? Let the new Turkish ambassador move his Embassy over to Southern Israel near the Gaza border... After all, "brothers" should be near eachother.
