School in Sheikh Jarrah 'could constitute a threat to the facility and its combatants,' state says. NGO: 'The government has found a new excuse to prevent building schools in East Jerusalem.'00:01 11.02.16 | 0 comments
If there can be no two-state solution, which is still highly desirable, the centrist parties (Yesh Atid and others) should form a committee to plan a movement for a bicameral knesset with the lower chamber being fully representative, based on districts that include the West Bank--and call for full voting rights of Palestinans in the West Bank. The upper chamber would continue to chosen as it is, with those Arabs who vote being from within the pre-1967 borders, and so preserve its Jewish identity. This would be a democracy, bi-nationall and still Jewish in character.
