Normally I would call for Olmert's immediate removal. But today I'm saying he should stay despite all of his failures, for one reason and one reason alone. Hassan is still around. Israel's leader can't be defeated due to war while the Hezb. leader stays in power throughout the same war. Talk about etching the loss into stone! Bringing down the leader of Israel while Hassan still survives would be Hassan's biggest victory yet. This is not the time to dispose of Olmert. Let Labor dispose of Olmert when the Pal. peace process/realignment goes nowhere. Labor will withdraw from the gov't and Olmert will have to go. And Hassan will either be dead by then, or it will be too late for him to claim it as a victory. It will just be politics.
