    Let me tell you how many times. 1948, 1967 and 1973. And this does not include the hundreds of times that the Syrians fired artillery from the Golan Heights at the towns and villages in Israel . My ignorant friend I grew up in one of those farming communities sleeping in the bomb shelters as the Syrians fired heavy artillery at us and our homes. I saw my father go into the fields every day in an armored tractor never knowing if he was going to come back alive as many of our friends and neighbors did not. Israel will still be here long after Syria has fractured into a country of tribal states killing each other over religious differences.
