was attacked, without provokation, in a war intended to liquidate Israel. Israel's military strategy, which worked was to use defensive offense. That is called defensive occupation in interational law and is totally lawful. Israel offered to withdraw in exchange for recognition, renunciation of violence and negotiations. This was not only refused but was refused for decades. At some point the enemy can legitiatmately regarded as implacable and integration should begin. There was plenty of basis for this integration without the Pal decision to simple bomb Israeli civilians to death, to rocket their communties and cut the throats of their infants. Those diabolical acts have reinforced and legitimized Israeli policy based on continued refusal of Pal society to come to a peaceful resolve. Retreating from the occupied territory at this point is a reward to terrorists. What is there loss? In a normal society one would say 50 years of misery but the excrement that leads those societies couldn't care less about the suffering of ordinary Pals and the loss of freedom and indeed ;ives of the dupes they send out to kill Israeli civilians. Hence, real punishment is required, if Pals do not come to some sense of decency! All sanctions would do is support a long term strategy of terror that began with a war of liquidation and has moved into the stage of feigned victimhood.
