Worldwide Jewry would be in a much stronger position to oppose what we see as anti-Semitic attacks andf slurs if Israel had not allowed half a million Israelis to settle in the West Bank, most for ideological reasons and the rest to benefit from subsidised housing. If Israel needs to be there for security reasons then send in the military and provide the infrastructure for them to be based there. Don't open the floodgate to civlians. Israel needed to have a military presence in Lebanon but civilians did not settle there. Why not? They had no interest in doing so because that land was never said to belong to Israel according to the scriptures. Allowing someone else's land to be stolen for ideological reasons is a huge crime. It may not justify an anti-semitic response but it does make it much harder for Jews to defend themselves when Israel behaves as it does.
