No matter who gets the job, they are all probably equally capable pf running the army positively. The lessons that have to be learned form the 2nd Lebanon War is very simple, at least in my opinion. Next time, and there probably will be, don?t send in any ground troops, just use air force and artillery and as much as we can give them. Ignore what CNN, BBC and other television channels have to say, and don?t let up till the white flag is waved. Forget the innocent women and children that will be killed as they are sadly guilt by default. I am proud of my country and its democracy and the Israeli army where my children have served with distinction. I was never prouder of them when we had to make the disengagement in Gaza. It show that we have a strong democracy in this wonderful Country.
