1) Yes, Obama controls enough military power in the form of conventional weaponry to do major damage to Iran's nuclear program...however the significant retaliation that would follow wouldn't be aimed at the US...maybe he's trying to avoid that. 2) An Israeli-only conventional attack wouldn't be as effective (less assets to fight with)...and would also result in an attack on Israel...maybe he'd like to avoid that. 3) A nuclear attack on Iran would do the job, but the outcomes are really bad...so, maybe he's trying to avoid that too. 4) So why the constant complaints about Obama...your argument ultimately fails because it is just not Obama's job to defend Israel. If you aren't safe...blame your government...not mine!
