Thank you, Ari Shavit. True, he was murdered because, as you rightly said, he was a free man. Is, therefore, freedom incompatible w/ the reality of the Middle East, as you state? A good question, in this time of asking questions, w/Passover just around the corner. Better to die a free man, then to live like a slave. He was an exception because he was a Christian Arab, I must tell you. My condolences to the loved ones he left behind, and may his work in the theater continue, as I am sure it will. And long live that legacy!
