Just what moral right does Israel have to hold the W/B? At least the boycott law is consistent with the Israeli desire for all the land west of the Jordon minus the indigenous population of course. How do you intend to complete the transfer of Palestinians from their ancestral lands? There is nothing moral about Israeli territorial designs on the W/B, nothing moral about the boycott law but the two do go hand in glove together. Israel is just getting all tangled up in its internal contradictions. And a watered down boycott law can not be expected to resolve these contradictions. Either give up on occupation of land, dreams of 'owning' the land or give up on the appearance of democracy. Your choice.
