... ... generations of Egyptians from dying in senseless wars against the Jewish State and thus nipping the Imperial gene of Egypt's MB in its budding stage. The MB didn't care for this type of Pharaoh who would give up his pride and prejudice against Israel and be humbled by the might of Israel's G-d on the battlefield. The MB miss the irony of them being amongst those Egyptians who are now alive precisely because of what Sadat accomplished by travelling to Jerusalem and addressing Israel's Knesset in peace. It is true that a generation has grown up in Egypt that knows not war with the Jewish State but Egypt's army has certainly not forgotten their battle scars that they had to lick gingerly for decades.
