Ayalon is not satisfied with offending Turkey (in the low chair treatment), which started the ball running downhill (flotilla) and ending with the loss of friendship of an important ally. He is now using an offensive language and insulting the Catholic Church. What does it mean "The synod was hijacked by an anti-Israel majority"? Usually, a hijacker is a MINORITY, which forces the majority to do something they would not have done otherwise. But this is a synod of MIDDLE EAST bishops. A majority of them, if not ALL of them, do not like Israel. So how was this synod "hijacked"? The bishops gave reasons for their conclusions (Occupation, Barrier, checkpoints, etc.) and these are certainly logical. Why not respond respectfully and DIPLOMATICALLY?
