The left refuses to shape there paradigms to the facts on the ground, rather they believe as this article points out that paradigms must shape reality. The left and its dogmatic approach to the peace process will always put the onus of peace on the jewish state, it fits with their world view that accepts false arab narratives rather then the 3200 yrjewish narratives that give the jewish people a right to the soil no matter whom is squatting on it, at least as legitimate a claim as any other. Taking from their beleif that the re-established jewish state, israel is born in sin thus will always put peace initiation on the side of the jews, despite the fact that no matter what the arabs seek the destruction of israel. 1)oslo=arafat, 2nd intifada. 2)lebanon retreat=4000 ketyushas 3)Gaza transfer=hamastan/kassams. The arabs grievance will not be satisfied till the jewish state doesn't exist, all the attempts of peace will only harm israel only strength and power projection may lead to peace.
