A man lost his shirt while gambling at a speakeasy (I told you it was a classic!). His friend asked him why he gambled there as it was known to be crooked. The man answered, "I know it was crooked, but it was the only game in town". So it has been with the American/Israeli peace effort over the years and decades. Now there is another game in town. I wonder if our gambling friend would be better off with the new game, or would he be be better off staying with the known crooked game.
