I laughed hard. I think it was a great way to break the "ice". People need to lighten up! If you really look into what the joke could mean, the two merchants represent the rule of "law", or "polite society", or the rule of "anything" in stark contrast to the Taleban, which could represent "lawlessness" and a disregard for those laws previously mentioned. I reiterate...it was a great ice breaker!
