Why is it that Hass has such trouble with the concept of a Jewish state? (She calls it, derisively, a "state for Jews-above-all". ) I've never heard her bemoan the fact that there are self-described Islamic states among the 50+ Muslim/Arab nations in the world (where she can't live, marry, buy land, even drive a car or appear in "normal" clothes). I, for one, and glad that there is a state for the Jews and I'm proud to live here after having been harassed all of my life for being Jewish in "the old country".
