What would I do if I was PM David Ben Gurion today? Would I agree to negotiate a two-states solution based on the 1967 cease fire lines and thus save Israel's status as a democracy or would I continue to dream about restoring the Biblical lands of the ancient Jewish people, from the sea to the Euphrates river? The answer was clear to Ben Gurion then in 1967 as it would be today. Only those wishing Israel and United States the continued challenges of terrorism which stemmed from this unresolved conflict, do not agree to such a compromise. Harmonious relations won't happen overnight, but the path the Democrats understand we should take is pretty well consistent with former PM David Ben Gurion.
