Why does Meretz have only 3 members in the Knesset and is expected to possibly lose even those 3 seats? Because they and Labor managed to kill the idea of social democracy in Israel and replaced it with a single issue: give the Palestinians an armed state at any price. Meretz and Labor stopped caring about women, children, the environment, employment and unemployment, and everything else. All they care about is the Palestinian issue, and thus when Meretz screams and shouts about anything else they have ZERO credibility. 98% of women in Israel sit in the front of the bus. 99% of women in Israel seek and find their spiritual karma. Yes, women should be allowed at the Wall in any decent way they want, and haredi men who harass women on buses should be jailed. But the reason Bradley has a column has nothing to do with any institutionalized "dehumanization" in Israel. The dehumanizing factor originated with the left like Meretz, who declared openly that Palestinians are free to violate our human rights and that it's our fault that they do so.

from the article: The women's side of the Wall: How do you say 'dehumanized' in Israel?
