The settlements in the West Bank are, whether you like it or not, on the agenda and there will be compromises. So the logic goes: do you think that the only thing that could lead to peace is an imposed solution? If yes, then resolutions of the Security Council makes perfect sense. The world will decide what to do with the settlements, Jerusalem and so on. If, on the other hand, you still believe that only bilateral negotiations could work and lead to a strong and sustainable peace, then you have to reject the initiatives of Abbas and salute the logic decision of the Obamaadministration.
