because this is exactly where it stems from and one must admit that the last few decades we're witnessing more of this negative brainwashing against our brethren, whether Muslims or Christians. There's a great injustice being committed here as there's always been coexistence for the longest periods of Jews in Arab lands and acceptance of one another. It is a false perspective to think that a rivalry between us is permanent. The continuing talk by Rabbis of distrust of Muslims is espousing to teachings of hatred and intolerance. I heard it this weekend at my synagogue as I've heard it years past and it's enough already! It sickens me. This is even forbidden by Jewish law and it's not practical in today's society where diverse religious and national paths cross in our everyday lives. It is most imperative that the Rabbis understand their responsibility, as that of the Government of Israel, that such discrimination, victimization and acts of terror cannot be taken in the name of the Jewish people or the State of Israel.
