The British War Cabinet, not Israel, published the Balfour Declaration (1917). Forces of the Allied nations, not Israel, conquered Palestine (1918). The Principle Allied Powers, not Israel, ratified the Balfour Declaration (1920). The Council of the League of Nations, not Israel, endorsed the Palestine mandate (1922). Mandatory Britain, not Israel, illegally deviated from applying the unanimously accepted Mandate legislation by condoning legally unsubstantiated Palestinian-Arab national claims (1923) and the UNGA, not Israel, partitioned Mandate Palestine further, in spite of art. 80 of its Charter (1947), THUS laying the foundation of the conflict before there was an independent sovereign state of Israel (1948). Arab nationalists and islamists, not Israel or the Jewish people, now threaten to destroy the (international) rule of law. So world peace is threatened by Israel? Must Israel be burdened with the main responsibility to solve a conflict it did not create? According to international law expertise, the primary objective of the Mandate for Palestine was to grant political rights to the Jewish people. The Jewish state and the Jewish people have done nothing to relinquish or surrender these rights. And the civil and religious rights of the Arab inhabitants as individuals were fully protected in the Mandate document, as well as their political rights as Israeli citizens. The international community doing nothing to restore the breach of its original pledge to the Jewish people and doing too little to stop its and Israel’s enemies, is the threat to world peace, not Israel. It is time for the international community in the first place to realize its failure to take responsibility for its own actions at the time and to pass the buck to Israel NO MORE!

Why is it hard to fall in love, and even harder to sustain it?
