If the term 'Jewish State' is used to describe a state with the current majority of its citizens are Jews, a state that is democratic with equal rights to all its citizens, then people will not object. If the term, however, is used to imply that Israel is a state only for the Jews and the proposed Palestinians state is for PALs only, and then used that as an argument to transfer the Israeli Arabs from where they lived for centuries, then that is racist, and that is one reason why people are objecting to the term.
