The board of the IAEA decides policy and recommendations to the General Assembly and SC of the UN. The residing IAEA board consists of : Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, South Korea, Mongolia, Netherlands, Niger, Pakistan, Peru, Portugal, Russian Federation, Singapore, South Africa, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Venezuela. Resolutions such as the latest on Iran require a simple majority. Lots of room for political armwrestling by the West, I should say.
