The price of Netanyahu's murdering the peace process is becoming painful. The horror of this bombing is immense. It is not an action justified or justifiable for any reason. Neither was, however, destroying any hope of peace. Netanyahu chose to destroy any hope of Palestinians for peace and by doing so rewarded those who see violence as the only path. Alas violence seems the only path left to to survival for the Palestinians. That does not justify what just happened, or the very many other atrocities which will follow. Nor will violence ensure the systematic expunging of Palestinians from the West Bank. What happened in Jerusalem today was just ruthless, bloody murder. An act of sadism and terrorism.
