Livni reminds me of the early Labor Zionists. They thought that there will not be an Arab "problem" because the Jewish and Arab workers, the proletariat, will band together and fight against the capitalists and effendis. Too bad nationalist feelings were stronger than class identity. Livni wants to rely on the moderates vs. fundamentalist loyalty. In the meantime, the Palestinians showed that even though most of them are moderate religiously, they can still elect an uncorrupt fundamentalist party which is also steadfast in pursuing their national liberation. Please, Livni, can't you wake up once and for all?
